In 2020, more than ever before, social media has become an important piece of the election cycle. As people turned to social media for entertainment and comfort, they also engaged in political discussion. But how much can social conversation tell us about people’s actions?
We took the same tools we use every day to help brands understand their consumers and applied them to the U.S. presidential election to see if we could predict the polls in key battleground states. Here are the results of our analysis of voter intent in the 2020 election.
