THE CHALLENGE
European Patent Office holds an annual awards ceremony for inventors called the European Inventor Awards. How do they drum up interest for the event?
APPROACH
1000heads’ solution was to create a physiological-based test that finds out ‘What Type of Inventor Are You’, themed around Tomorrow Shapers. Everyone who does the test gets their unique character generated from 16 trait types.
IMPLEMENTATION
Developed with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript – taking advantage of Three.JS library and PHP to ensure people could share their unique links on social media.
IMPACT
This web immersive experience proved to be a quick success, reaching both quantitative and qualitative objectives quickly. The experience was able to not only attract interest into the mission of the European Inventors Awards but also spiked organic user generated content, promoting the event among new audiences.
The campaign was able to acquire over 13,000 users with one day alone acquiring over 3500 users interacting with the experience. Out of the 13,000 users around 70% fully completed the experience and claimed their personality type and custom inventor model.

AI & SOCIAL LISTENING: GOPRO RECOLYTICS
PROBLEM
UNIQLO needed a pivot campaign from experiential to an online experience during the COVID pandemic to highlight their HEATTECH range and drive brand awareness for their winter thermal range.
SOLUTION
1000heads AU developed a gamified experience based on the idea of hot or cold, where your cursor becomes warmer when you find the hidden thermal shirt. 20k shirts were sent out across Australia and a 100k emails captured over 2020 and again in 2021.
TECHNOLOGY
Deployed and hosted by 1000heads. Three JS framework to create particle 3D effect and AFrame JS framework to create the gameplay of finding the hidden HEATTECH tokens.
