WOMMA defines word of mouth
By Molly FlattSo I’m here at the first day of the Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA) annual Summit in Las Vegas and proceedings have already got off to a flying start (I’m live tweeting @mollyflatt).
In the past few hours we’ve had a keynote by Sally Hogshead on ‘How to Fascinate’; a panel on offline word of mouth from Keller Fay, P&G Tremor, NM Incite and Escalate; and a talk on ‘Corporate Culture’ from Groupon and Zappos (and that’s just the stuff I chose to go to).
I’m moderating an international panel tacking ‘Global Perspectives on Word of Mouth’ tomorrow, and I’ll post a full report once we’re done.
But the golden nugget for me so far is this simple, new little video from WOMMA. Everything starts from knowing what WOM is (here’s how we explain it) so this is a great way to start three days of high-level insight.
Share, discuss, enjoy.
